IDK that is just what I have seen... I don't play MW2 but my 11 year old brother does, lol, I must say he isn't too annoying though.

Another little kid in my clan or side of my room. 1 I TK him and vote him out. 2 I just leave the game. I hate kids in video games. So much dunce thinking within them and so much idiotic talking from them with their whinny pub voices. LOL!

It is bad enough when I have to listen to screaming children, blasting rap music, or someone's wife yelling at them when they PTT on the MIC. I don't need to hear that crap 100% of the time.

depends on how the community will be for socom 4. sometimes when I am playing MAG people will blast music into their mics and that can be annoying. though if you are shooting it would be kinda hard to press and talk but that also depends on what button they would use to talk.

I hate when you get into an immature room and there are people blasting their music which is fine if they want to listen, but I don't, so mute your mic. If your in a room with people who are cool then an open mic system could be helpful at times. I would rather keep the PTT system because there are far more immature people out there.

i like the open mic. although i do see where you are coming from with kids/music, but then again we had that on socom as well where they would just hold the mic, then you couldnt say anything. at least with open mics, you can just mute the 1 or so stupid people in that room. just my thoughts

I was wondering what would happen if they allowed 2 or 3 ppl on the mic at the same time with ptt. keep the 10 second rule.
What are your thoughts??

WHAT IF....lol......we had 3 "channels" for mics like we've seen before in Socom. Channel 1 - Your entire side hears you Channel 2 - Only the people who select this channel can hear each other Channel 3 - Open mic

That could work Luke. My question would be will the open mic people only be able to talk to themselves.(same as channel 2) I'm assuming thats what you said.

I wouldnt mind if they implemented it in as an option when setting up rooms. I think all regular server rooms should be set to PTT and in the UCR (hopefully we have them ranked too) there could be an option to have an open mic. This would be an advantage if you are playing in a room with your entire clan on one side, open mic would work really good then.

PTT is an absolute MUST! I know there's alot of idea about squads and partially open mic, but come on... don't fix something that's not broken. PTT is perfect the way it is! It better not be changed in any way or i might cry

It better not be changed in any way or i might cry I cant agree its 100% perfect. How many times have you been in a clan match and you see an enemy and want to call him out (say its a very crucial call out) and one of your clanmates is holding the mic and you are unable to call the enemy out. I dont see anything wrong with open mic as long as its an option like in my example

PTT should be the standard.
But it would be cool to have a friends channel or clan channel that is open mic.

I would much rather see open mic in the lobbies than in the game. I hate fighting for the mic button while in the lobby.

Did not vote as the option I want is not present.
I would want PTT for team chat or team broadcast and then the option to join and invite others to open mic channels. PTT would still always work as a cross channel chat. That way if you want to be in open mic chat with some people you know are respectful and won't be playing music or taking a dump while they play you can do so while still having the benefits of PTT for everyone else.

i think less people will put on their headset when its open mic, atleast i wont put on my headset when in an open mic game when theres no one i know with me. on socom i do keep it on and get to know people alot more comforatble, i'll warn people for enemies etc. if PTT is lost i think most of that will be lost. i wont buy it if its open mic.
