I love you WarMachine! You just saved me a good 10 minutes. I'm starting to like this new community already.  I would just like to add, that it has been confirmed, "NO VEHCILES IN S4". So when you vote, remember that you will be playing them as "small" on 8v8 and of course "large" for the 32 player selections. I think some maps just won't work in S4. Ex: Devil's Road Large would suck with no vehicles. But the small version is cool! |

i don't remember the name but it was part of CA and it was a snow map and it had a big metal bridge going to the other side...

Yes, I loved Prowler.
Nothing like grabbing a jeep and crunching all those dirty snipers as I "DUKES OF HAZARD" over the hills.
~CRUNCH~ send taunt, pick up gunner, and repeat. LOL
Our clan used to track individual stats on our clan website.
I held the record with 500 vehicle kills in ONE MONTH. Get some!
I was RUTHLESS!

I think Anchorage along with Siphon and Echelon had to have been the best of the best of CA. Anchorage would have been much better if it was in winter and some of the water had turned to ice, It would have cut down on some of the camping.

I loved Citadel, that was always our first map when we made a UCRR, usually followed with fault, killing fields, Anchorage, Harvestor "Snipers only", Antenora "No Nades". Man all this talk I am about to log in to Combined Assault tonight.

I probably would have chosen some of the CA maps if I remembered them. Citadel is my favorite out of those.

I never ended up even buying CA. It looked like a repackage of Socom 3 which I did not enjoy, and could not justify spending money on it.
How did the CA maps compare to Socom 3 maps?

Summit Copperhead Threshold Retaliation Boot Camp Anchorage Echelon Aftershock Siphon Prowler ps2.ign.com/articles/737/737172p1.htmlThere were some awesome maps in CA bro. It definitely "filled in the gaps" of the pallette the Socom 3 maps offered. Maps like "Threshold" (small) became the "FrostFire" for snipers to duel it out. Prowler became one of my favorite maps involving Socom vehicles. I mean, who didn't just love running over someone with a jeep and skating 360's around his corpse on the frozen ice? Friggin Epic! lol. Or the awesome "tank wars" on the frozen lake? Siphon became very popular. I knew of numerous clans who used that map as the new "tiebreaker" over Killing Fields! That is until Crossroads dropped on the MapPacks. I'm sure some other readers out there can contest to some of the other maps like Anchorage, Summit, and even small Retaliation. About the only map I personally didn't enjoy was Boot Camp. |

Retaliation, Boot Camp, Aftershock, Siphon, and Prowler stick out to me. I remember just working people with a sniper rifle on Prowler.

Anchorage fault and citadel all day...get some killing fields in their and life was good plus when they had the map packs later on in the game with the s2 maps that was tits to

Bringing any 3/CA/Conf map back would be a waste of time and resources that could be better spent on bring back a S1/2 map or creating a new one.
