I'm not sure if i'm missing it, but is there an option to kudos post? If not is the idea a work in progress?

We are proud to say that we do not support KUDOS. I want people to post out of passion for the franchise, not for some love affair with how many kudos you get.

Yea, you'd be surprised how much "kudos" influence posters over at Socom.com.

To some of them, it ain't even about Socom anymore lol.

Sorry Paul.. nope you are definitely NOT blacklisted haha. We have just been in "auto pilot" as a clan lately. Sorry about that. Hopefully we will be doing some regrouping and focusing on more clan activities in the VERY near future. So please stay tuned. Pro-Assassins never say die!!! lol.

It's pretty much equivalent to saying "Good post!"

It counts the number of people who clicked the "Kudos" button and, therefore, the original poster's ego builds.

Although some do attempt to gain popularity with kudos on Socom.com kudos on this site wouldn't be as hyped. I've had them on my forums before and it was a huge deal at all. And it does encourage people to make more quality posts versus quantity posts. The reason it doesn't work on Socom forums is because of the amount of morons who are members and the lack of permanent banning.

PS: I've had a point system on a forum before. It was InvisionPro forum but it worked quite well. Ramped up the activity and didn't really increase noticeable spam.
