I know this side switching has gotten some new SOCOMers or even old converted that it's okay. Lets see what overall our community thinks of this issue and if ODD ROUNDS should in fact come back to SOCOM.
I'm for (ODD ROUNDS) or Round 11.

I'm not going to vote just because I'm down for both.
I like the diversity. I like having to switch my tactics up. Switching is very fun when it comes to Medley. And, you know, a lot of people say they don't like it because they feel the need to agree with every other guy. That's what I hate about this community. They're a bunch of retards who can't think for themselves. Not all of us, of course.
To me, side switching is fine as long as the win goes to the team who had the most objectives completed and/or if there is a tiebreaker round. That's just my opinion, though.

With SIDE SWITCHING you won't see a TIE BREAKER tho...

No side switching... a lot of problems that came from the side switching would be resolved by just getting rid of it. I like the challenge of, for example, being a SEAL for Death Trap.

I'd be about side-switching if they could find a solid, working tie-breaking solution but since I don't think it's possible, give me 11 rounds.

Gotta have the tiebreaker mechanic, so I vote no side switching.

I want my 11 rounds with a tie-breaker back. I'm tired of losing 4-4 games. IMO no one actually wins those games and no one team can prove they're better.

Side switching was one of the best additions to the series to date, and I hope it stays in Socom4.

I think they should have side switching.
But only after the game is over, and everyone is back in the lobby.

No!, If they want to get a lot of people back to Socom, then they gotta give the SOCOMers what they lost, which is the 'straight 11 rounds'.

11 rounds was great because for clan wars for example, I chose a map like Guidance SEALs... you can develop a distinct advantage for that map/team. When you side switch it almost defeats the whole Clan Map thing. IDK if it makes sense but I just loved having one mindset for a game, knowing whether I was a SEAL or terrorist.

No side switching!!!! Winners and Heroes were made in the 11th round.
And its hard to get a "groove" going when your playing on one side then before you know it you have to change everything up and play on the other.

The 8 round side switching is a yes for me, this gives each team the opportunity to get a fair advantage on every map and every game. I did like Socom II's format, however with Socom Confrontation doing the side switching I found it was better for everyone.
I believe that yes, there has been some new individuals coming to the Socom series and beginning with Confrontation, due to the side switching. Everyone does want a fair advantage, and not a one sided map like Socom II, FrostFire, Enowapi, Fish Hook etc. Everyone gets the same number of rounds per side now, which has built the momentum for the gamers, knowing they're down 0-4 and switching sides, they still have the momentum of knowing they can defintely tie it.

You honestly like having a 4-4 draw?? I feel no team has won if its tied. I liked playing on the team with the disadvantage because it made it more challenging and fun. I like to know i got beat by the enemy and not a comp deciding if i lost.

I am leaning towards no side switching, but it is kinda nice switching sides. I just wish they had odd number of rounds, but if they have side switching, you really can't. Unless if the game ends in a 4-4 draw, they should have a random generator for side switching and have one more round.

I don't know...kids these days want to win...and they won't stick around for a loss.
I mean i see kids switch teams because of ratings...switch teams because they are commandos first for escort ect ect. And this is with Side Switching.
Why can't we have 10 rounds with side switch...then a tie breaker round of suppression or demo?

I loved/hated the fact that in gb wars there always the possibility of getting mapf**ded by the randomized by it picking say eno ur pick xrds the other teams pick and sumo last. Always meant a fun war even tho a challenging one albeit. But with side switching that isn't there and I feel like a core value is lost what's the point of picking maps if you can't pick the advantage side?
I'm all for 11 rounds

I really don't understand why people wouldn't want the side the change, Maps can be one sided or at the least pose a large challenge. This is an equalizer, I remember playing maps where people would just sit on one side of a Map constantly and wouldn't switch teams. I thought this was one of the few gems placed in S:C. I it think makes for a more diverse playing field and gives the other side a chance to play both sides.
The odd to even Rounds really makes this poll lopsided and stupid. You can still do the side change with an odd # of rounds.

How can you do an odd number of rounds with incorporating the side switch? It would make it unfair, if they are going to go back to the odd numbered rounds there cant be a side switch. And sure, some of the maps would be very one sided, but that made it that much more fun. Who didn't love playing Desert Glory as SEAL's? Or Sujo as SEAL's? those were so much fun, I loved the challenge.

Those were great maps and were fun playing as Seals. I dont remember anyone ever saying this map is unfair and unwinable. I won as many as I lost on those maps playing Seals and enjoyed every min. I played.
