What should your bullet do?
Vote for 1 in the first 3, and 1 in the last 2.
I changed this from original.

I try to always aim at the upper chest near the neck. Sometimes head depending what position I'm in and if the target is moving or not and depending on the MAPS terrain if its bumpy or straight etc.. etc... A lot of elements come to mind when you think about it.

That's is true but i'm talking about a guy running down the road and you scope in, line the crosshair on his back, then fire all in a 2 sec period. If it's Confrontations way then you'll probably miss, but if it's the other 2 then it will hit.

My favorite sniping, isn't in Socom, ironically enough. I love BC2s, sniping. There is a decent bullet drop, but your character doesn't hold his rifle like Micheal J. Fox on a bad day and you don't have to hold your breath to steady your aim for a shot.

True. Question is how far will zipper go. Will they have a bullet drop, the effects from wind, aim ahead of a running target?

My method is to essentially play like an Assault Rifle guy but run around get behind something and take some shots move... I don't like sniping from one spot, it isn't too fun doing that either. Strafing and shooting... lots of fun especially if you can get good at it.

#2. I want max. configuration on realism. NO JOKES ON ME! I want to shoot straight and hit straight, no other way suits me...

They would half to put flags up everywhere to help judge the wind. Would make sniping alot harder.

I dont think they should go as far as implementing a wind affect, that would be too hard to judge unless they told you the speed and direction of the wind, and even then it would be annoying because the wind direction will never be the same since your position is constantly changing.
However I wouldnt be too bothered if it was like Battle Field and the bullet dropped slightly for long range shots.
Other than that I think that shooting while being still should be extremely accurate and when your player is moving the accuracy should be slightly lowered (but not by much)

I would not mind a little bit of bullet drop, and leading targets. I personally rarely snipe but when i do its counter sniping or backside. I always aim for the body .

Me to. Some people said that they like bullet drop. If have heard some people like the way the scope works in Con. while playing. I thought i would stick it up.

I said to add bullet drop only assuming there are distances great enough for this to be a factor... which most SOCOM maps would not be.

For sure make it more accurate when still, and slightly less accurate when moving or for the 1st second when you scope in.
