So what do you like about what you see so far?

Obviously many people arent too happy with the snap to cover system, health regen (TBD for MP), the look of a few of the characters, etc.... But from what we have seen what do you guys like so far?

From what I have seen of the SP I really enjoyed the cinematics of the gameplay. I think great cinematics makes the game much more enjoyable. Im very picky when it comes to the games I play, I have about 4 games I play religously (SOCOM, GTA->RDR, NCAA football, GOW) and the cinematics of GOW 3 just made the game so bad ass IMO, so I hoping for the same experience with SOCOM 4.

So let me hear what you guys really like so far?

Obviously the graphics are the best ever for a Socom game. But brushing the obvious aside, I think I was most impressed with Zipper giving us the option to bypass that OTS zoomed view and go directly into scope/down the sights view. That's a biggie for me.

I'm not a story mode type of girl, so I could careless about all the stuff I've seen so far. Once I see online play stuff thats when I will get excited.

To me, that kinda hints that all these "new features" will be optional.


The fact they let us bypass the OTS view shows me they have the longtime fanbase considered.

Yea, we will see some changes, but this is a prime example of "old skool" coexisting with new "overhauled" game play.

I think Socom 4 will be a different experience. But I also think long time players like ourselves will still have the option to play Socom the way we remember it.


Now if our "old" tactics will be able to hang with the Move & new features, is whole other conversation. Only time will tell......

I guess the thing im looking forward to the most is a single player mode in general. There really isn't any new features shown in the demo that im excited about.
