Yes, that would be your OP, not being a little whiny bitch to me when I mention "anything to do with socom". There is a slight difference.

Okay.
Then why the fuck come on the forum if you're gonna pull shit like this.
You stated your opinion. I told you what made SOCOM, SOCOM and I'm the bad guy.
Just leave.

I just don't like to see retards like you, argue someone's opinion, take it completely out of context, by trying to play fancy word games and use it against them then make out they are the bad ones.
Not to point out, the idea of a forum is put a thread up, post it, have replies to it. It's generally how a forum works, or is this one different? Maybe where, someone states an opinion, you bitch at them about it then don't expect any comeback?
Or is that a perfect little world for you?

But it's going to be a "short" visit if I see any further personal attacks. I suggest you use the private message feature for conversations of this nature. Cyanide, you know better and that's all I will say here. We built this site to get away from all the childish "drama" you might see on other websites. Keep this mind at all times. Thanks. You guys started off with a great debate that I enjoyed reading. But then things went down hill rather quickly. Can we go back to the "friendly arguments"?

Yes, arguing opinions is how forums works, not when you make it personal however.

I think I'll vouch for this community when I say weapon attachments/weapons don't make the game like I've iterated before.
Back on topic!

Yes, arguing opinions is how forums works, not when you make it personal however. You both took it personal and my post was aimed toward both of you. But this issue is officially resolved. Enjoy posting and respect one another.

Unlocking weapons is fine. Just don't make having them an advantage. Make dudes want to rank up to unlock different guns not better guns.

I am somewhat in the middle, I do like ranking up and getting guns that way so it gives me another reason to keep playing online. I somewhat get bored with games that you never get any new guns and its the same guns over and over again. Granted once you get to the final rank you have all of the guns but then it feels like you earned it. thats my opinion. Though I rather have character parts (purely cosmetic) unlocked through ranking up then having guns unlocked through ranking up. Unlocking weapons is fine. Just don't make having them an advantage. Make dudes want to rank up to unlock different guns not better guns. I have yet to see a developer actually work this right. So many guns go unnoticed/used in all shooters out there. Bad Company 2 does this really well, all the guns are good and I always see people using all the guns, High rank and low rank.

We can do without specialty weapons. They cheapin the game, and take the fun out of it period. For example, the Tilly.
I personally don't care for unlockable items. But if I had to choose... It would be unlockable features like an extra item to carry. As in, an extra grenade, or clip, etc... I like the ideal of unlocking player skins, or camo colors, or a ghillie suit.

Not how I look at it. When I still had that game and playing Medic, the SAW was the #1 LMG until the M60 was unlocked.

The only OP weapon in the game now is the An-94, all the LMG's are in line with each other.

I'm talking about unlockable weapons. What the hell's wrong with all the weapons having to be unlocked in every recent shooter. You guys basically just told us there will be no weapon balance. Weapon balance is the most important thing in any shooter. Any dumbass knows that. That's what the COD players have been complaining about since day one of MW2. It's bull! I don't want another player to have a better weapon than I do just because he bought the game a month before I did. It's totally unfair, and therefore, makes it harder for me to unlock the weapon becuase I'll probably get owned by all these overpowered weapons. Zipper, you really screwed the playing field with MAG. I bought the game 2 months ago and when I first played it, I got destroyed because all I had was an M4 with NO attachments. You didn't even start us off with anything. I really don't want to be punished for not pre-ordering the game or buying it early. It strips me of the fun I'll have upon buying the game. In short, don't screw the newbies over. Keep the weapons BALANCED! kudo
