I realize it's just "Pre-Alpha" here folks, but I think this is a concern Zipper needs to address.

What is soft spotting you ask?
"Soft Spotting" is when a player can place his gun barrel INTO a wall or object, and still fire bullets through the obstruction unseen to the enemy.
Players who practice this glitch/"technique" can use "lean" to position their character in way where the enemy CANNOT see them.
Add in a "snap-cover-system", and a player can achieve this quite easily.
Some soft spots even include laying prone on the ground and having the textures detailing the ground not be solid.
The player "sinks" into the ground completely hidden. But his crosshairs and bullets work just fine.
Here's an example of "soft spotting" on previous Socoms....

(watch at the very end of this noob fight on Blackwoods. The guy clearly soft spots the rock.)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiJAQCfX0Gw *0:39 mark & *1:13 mark
(the enemy is soft spotting a well known crate in Combined Assault with a sniper rifle.)
There were several maps like Fault, Antenora, and Killing Fields that all had that "special place" people would softspot.
There are even a few softspots in Confrontation, but I won't post those for obvious reasons.
The reason I bring this up is because of this Socom 4 video right here. It's more well-known for highlighting the recoil.
Can you find the gun? The assault rifle is IN THE WALL.
Use your imagination folks. Extend the height of that wall where your head and body are completely covered from enemy fire.
Couldn't I technically soft spot that broken wall pretty easily? That gun is COMPLETELY in the wall and firing through it.
I think this needs to be addressed. If I can do this here, what about boxes, window ledges, and corners?
Community, we all know the dreaded softspot glitch quite well.
What are YOUR thoughts?
