I don't get why THIS health Regen is game breaking

I don't like health regen let me start off with saying that I would prefer it gone. But the massive hype over it is crazy. If that's the only one of the few things that are wrong in the game your not gonna buy it? It's really not going to be a big deal in Multiplayer. It takes 3 shots to kill someone. About 90% of the time that player is going to die way way way way before the health regen even starts to bring health back. There will be a few times where you might hit someone before they peak back in and they regen health but that just means your weren't going to kill them at that point anyway.

Zipper also already stated that it would take ALONG time to regen your health back if you can't kill that person you hit by that time because you want to stay in your spot and not peak out then that guy deserves to get his health back because you have roasting marshmallows telling story's camping that spot. I just have this feeling a lot of people are considering the health regen from COD that is crazy fast which is another problem with that crappy game.

Now if you forgot I said this: I WOULD LOVE TO NOT HAVE HEALTH REGEN... But if its there its not gonna be game breaking for me. If you want something game breaking complain about the cover system more then we are. That REALLY Changes the way the game is played. Plus I don't remember if they said they were adding the classic lean from cover someone confirm that for me please.

There is a rare chance that Zipper found a way to implement Health Regen that is very "mild" and doesn't interfere with the classic Socom gameplay too bad.

BUT, just look at all the "other" Health Regens out there......

I get shot ALL the time on Battlefield and regen that health back to full. On Socom, my health gets "chipped" away and prevents me from killing the whole team eventually.

Kill streaks will be all too easy in Socom 4 with this feature. I can win a gun fight, go back to full health and repeat 5-6 times.


Without health regen, I may lose half my health that first gunfight. Everything past that point becomes "intense".


Having a "new life" after each gunfight just cheapens the thrill.

True cy and luke. I mean everyone has a valid point in the subject aslong as it has some meaning to it and not "BCUZ N00BZ LIKE HEALTH REGEN" Which is why I like the socom community there are a few people like that here but the majority doesnt mind discussing things.

BTW luke when you talk about kill streaks your not talking about rewards are you? Just refering to streaks? I would hate to see anything other then set path airstrikes/detonators in this socom. ;D

I think he's refering to the amount of kills you get in a row, NOT a reward you get for doing it.

I'm simply referring to "kill streaks" like 6+ kills in one round.

On COD * Battlefield, getting 6+ kills in 2 minutes isn't that big of a deal.....

Hell, ppl rack up 15 all the time in COD.


But on SOCOM? LOL, 6 kills in one round is BEASTING it.
Throw in health regen, and 6 kills is as easy as 2-3.

EXACTLY my friend. Perfect example.


Imagine looking back on that scenario with Health Regen....

It would obviously still be a "clutch" play, but that individual "stardom" bleeds into just simply "the team did well and won".


Don't get me wrong, Socom is all about the team, but that individual spotlight motivates all of us.
