What do you mean by 11 rounds and side switch in lobby?
Are you saying play the normal 11 rounds and then be forced to play on the opposite side the next game? If that's the case, HELL no. Imagine the exploitations people will go through in order to play on whichever side they want.

After a game is over. the game switxhes the sides in the lobby. Prevent people from sitting on the easy side all day.

Nah I don't like that at all, people shouldn't be forced to play on a certain side each game. What if a buddy gets on and you get separated on different teams, now you're forced to play against him the entire time, or find a new room.

8 rounds w/ side switching.
It may sound very un "veteren"esque of for the very shallow minded, but people never look at the obvious.
It we play eleven rounds, that's 11 rounds, err.., 2 rounds of strategy. From there, you lose some people based off of how much fear they have now that they've won/lost 1 round. After you finally get to the 11th round, you probably have a tiebreaker and go into overtime...for another 20 minutes.
Keep it short and sweet; Objective based scoring system with side switching and no tiebreaker to let the ballsy players shine.

Yes and you could also push the switch side button... like we have always had.

I am gonna get yelled at but side-switching was the best addition in Confrontation to the series.

as mr foreman would say, side switching equals "my foot, in your arse". it was never a part of socom to begin with, how can you say you want classic socom, but heres a few new things id like as well. total hypocrisy. keep it real or go elsewhere to another game

I am not really one of those die-hard "We want Socom 2++" peoples. I like some of the additions to the series since socom 2 (encumbrance, side-switching, proxy chat, a run button (*GASP*)) and I do not like others (vehicles, armor, faction specific weapons, C/E points). I "keep it real" by supporting the home grown Socom II HD idea for the PSN. I understand that games change and evolve with the times/technologies/trends. And yes, I've been playing every single Socom since Socom 1 on release day.
