I'm "We'll see how how it plays out"
The only reason it was a crucial feature in SOCOM is because it was necessary. Maybe we won't need it.

The lean was so poor in Socom Con I never used it. I actually took the buttons off and got used to not leaning. I did however like the ducking lean u could do via sixasis.

Hmm, lets see what else they decide to remove from Socom for this game. TPS view? a Scoreboard? NVGs?
What will have to be removed from the Socom franchise to make it so Socom 4 will no longer be considered a Socom game.

I never really used it unless I absolutely had to, which wasn't very often. I don't think I will miss it at all really.

I never used it really... LOL. Just to see farther around a corner. < Nice little trick.
But I still love hating on Zipper's retarded idea to REMOVE something from the game such as lean and open/close doors... so if you see me going off on a sissy tantrum on the SOCOM forums about the lean... it's because I've had it with all their BS.

I think with no lean in S4 it may promote a faster game play, but who knows.

since finding out about the no lean i decided to disable it on Confrontation just so i would not miss it when S4 comes out. And anyway the only reason I would use it was to get a better look around a corner before moving on.so I didn't think it was that important but Ive gotta say I've died a few more times because of this I think Seths excuse of "it wasn't removed as we never put it in this game" was a pretty poor excuse!

Not too big of a deal but still deflating. I would use it to look around corners that were anywhere from 10 feet to 50 yards in front of me. Never really used it on huggable corners.

I am outraged. Lean feature was one feature that made socom what it is.

I think with no lean in S4 it may promote a faster game play, but who knows. I think it will actually slow it down because more people would be forced to use the cover system just to lean out for a shot.

The lean is one of the features that defined what SOCOM was for me and something that distinguished it from other games out there because it provided that additional control. It was something I used quite often and in a large variety of different situations. This is a feature that should of been improved and expanded on, not replaced by a sub standarded alternative.
I'm beginning to wonder if this game is going to have anything left to offer of what I want from a game... doesn't look like it.

Totally agree with you when it comes to actually using it to shoot around things etc it def sucks! but I mean in that I never realized just how much I used it for getting a better view until I disabled it
