Just wanted to point this out. I for one am a HUGE fan of the D-pad lean. It's been a while since we've been able to have a "correct" version of the lean as Confrontation's was essentially USELESS. Anyways, I believe their is still hope for a D-pad Lean in SOCOM 4, and the reason being is, Multiplayer will not have squad commands mapped on the D-pad ( it's common sense to know you don't order squad commands in multiplayer). We already know you can lean WHILE in cover, but I'll be pretty ticked if it's not able to be used while a user is NOT in cover. Discuss. originally posted here: forums.socom.com/t5/SOCOM-4/D-Pad-Leaning-Still-Hope/td-p/754311

I'll be ticked to Rev if they don't have the D-Pad lean.
I've been behind objects like trees where I had to lean out to while still be in cover.
I dought we will be able to use the cover system on a tree...

Rev, we can only hope they don't waste a useful button with taunts.

I think we will see 6-axis lean instead of D-pad :-(

You know, we might see 3 different types of lean!
D-pad
Six-axis (can disable like Confrontation)
Move-lean (however that works!)

Rev, we can only hope they don't waste a useful button with taunts. Taunts should be implemented like they've always done, under the "weapon/options/gear" panel...

i'm hoping the D-pad lean does return and i'm hoping that since the Quick Swap is already mapped to the D-pad that they implement the push and tap feature. example, in S:C i hold the run button to run and i tap it to knife. wishful thinking...
