I was wondering Zipper if your going to have a Fire Rate system thats realistic? In Confrontation Beta they had a fire rate that I thought was something I'd get if i picked up a real gun and fired it. Single Shot was very accurate sending shots down range(short/ medium / far distances). Full-Auto was more geared to suppressive fire / clearing buildings. So my real question would be will we see something like this or will you test it out and then decided to back out of it like Slant Six did after the game was released to apeal to "average player"?

How does how fast a gun fires apply to your skill level. I'm really getting tired of people associating everything with a non-SOCOM experience.
PS: This isn't the official forum for SOCOM 4, dummy.

who said anything about skill lvl? this is the second post ive made where some dipshit comes on and trolls about something i didnt write. Smooth. Fire-rate means something to me thats what i asked the question. as far as this not being a socom official site, the Podcasts are so the ppl who run this site are about socom so theyll know the answers to my questions faster than I or your dumbass. Thanks for post but next time keep your dumb thoughts to yourself.
PS Fire Rate is on every weapon in the world. How does that fit the "socom exp" that you think you know? Oh i dont know maybe it deals with the weapons that will be in the game....

Well, I don't see how Fire Rate can, not be realistic. You're most likely not even going to be able to switch fire modes in S4.
PS: Calm down, broseph. I call everyone dummy. Take a chill pill.

ahh if you stop critizing everything i say ill chill out. Wait that wont happen. So No. Staying on topic, Fire Rate in many games isnt realistic. How many times have you been sprayed with a full clip from halfway across the map getting HSed? for me...way to often then i should. Now the trailer looks like fully auto is gonna act like it should. after a few rounds fired it will begin to raise but my real concern is that are ppl going to be able to control that to the point where if i fire 5shots hold down ill have a perfect shot for a head shot with the next 25 rounds? cause im pretty sure full auto is a little more harder to control than that.
Lets face it thats in every shooter that "skill" is used when firing on Full-auto. just want balanced to the firing mode. S1 n S2 made it easy to squeeze a few rounds off and kill or run n gun. All the rest have been Run n Gun favored. Being able to get 4 shots off from single shot should be more affective then running acoss the map HOLDING down the r1 button while pressing down on the pitch stick. God i hate COOKIE CUTTERS ( Silencer n Fore=grips)

You haven't mentioned anything to do with Fire Rate.
You're having gripes with Accuracy and Recoil Where you're going, you seem to be implying that Hip Firing is the main problem. SOCOM was built on an archaic Hip Firing niche and they stuck to it. In more recent games, you forced to take cover more than any others. You can't blame the guns you getting your head blown off because you were standing straight up on a roof. That's my problem with MoH. Everyone's blaming the weapons.

Yeah cricket, everything you said had nothing to do with fire rate. But I agree with what you're saying about accuracy. I do hope it's not like confrontation where you could shoot five shots without moving your crosshairs and all of them hit different spots. Where you aim is where your bullet should go on a single fire shot. But as for recoil, that doesn't matter much to me, controlling your recoil is all about skill so I couldn't care less how little or big the recoil is.
