A: Currently, Our Badges Are Designed to Help Suny Faculty and Staff Communicate to Others on Campus That They Have Learned From Our Programs. We Have Not Yet Worked With Internal or External Organizations to Raise Awareness of Our Badges but We Will Be Looking to Do Something Similar Following an Initial Review of the Badge Scheme. Q. Are the Badges Offering Mainly Soft Skills Related to a Specific Area or Are They More Technical in Nature? A. The Competencies, Skills and Knowledge Learned on Our Courses Are a Combination of Technical and Soft Skills as They Focus on Teaching and Other Academic Work. Technical Skills Often Involve Being Able to Demonstrate the Ability to Apply Educational Theory to Practice but Doing This Requires the Use of Soft Skills Such as Listening, Teamwork or Effective Communication.
