the "honor code" will come back if we come back. i think a game like cod would be great if it was structured like socom that necessitated a community. the dead room for instance was key to talking to teammates about strategy. in respawn games there is no community and hence no honor code. there is also no reason to even plug in your headset in cod(except to mute out all the kids).
socom just needs to provide an environment. we'll provide the honor code.

If Socom 4 is created with UCRR's with the missed Socom feel, many fans will be back.

As far as RPGs and 203's go, These days, I say use them. Why. Plain and simple, the new generation would rather look at a wall for 40 minutes rather than play a game for 10. IF an RPG gets me a kill off of some jackass humping a wall for an entire game, then so be it. Shouldn't have been camping there. Save a nade or two? Change your strategy? Look for other solutions. Is he able to see 90/180/360 degrees? Is an attack from above in play? Is there another teammate you can simply open your mouth over the mic and call him out for help. Bait him for another teammate? Ask a teammate to nade. Use smoke or a bang. Change your angle of attack. See you may hate the camper and his tactic of doing so for him being simple minded or just doing it to piss you off and force you to make a mistake. Why not use your head and go through every option. See I prefer no 203s or RPG on personel but I also can use my head to avoid them. It's all about utilizing your skills to the fullest. That includes your thought process. People say this is a tactical game (which it is at times) so why not be tactical. You may say this new generation of gamers is bad but ask yourself this, are you doing anything better to adapt? Nades are sketchy at best. Half the time you will end up bouncing it just right, to land in a baddies pocket and still miss. Not only that, nades take a few seconds to detonate. I can see a nade coming at me, run away from the kill area to miss the explosion, and be back to my little corner before they get there. There is little to not time between rocket firing and exploding in someones face. And with the maps crappily designed, both bases will only be accessible through choke points. So your choice is to rocket corner camper at choke point A, or rocket corner camper at choke point B.
